Building Envelope Evaluation & Repairs
In the Vancouver area wood framed buildings are especially susceptible to rot and require frequent inspections and repair. Catching rot early is critical to avoiding costly repairs. Combining our knowledge of building codes with our 20 years of experience we ‘SEE’ buildings differently than you do. To help protect your strata we offer yearly site surveys to identify these problem areas and the services to fix them.
Deck Rebuilds
Exposed outside structures like decks, fences and retaining walls only have limited lifespans. We can properly assess if your decks need replacement, or if they might last a few more years. We are familiar with various Liquid membranes, vinyl, and all the relevant codes required for installation. Full replacements/re-covering of aging decks offered. Water Leaks & Repair
If you have water ingress issues please don’t hesitate to call us. Leaks which have developed slowly have more chance of causing structural damage, and we want to catch that as early as possible! We are very talented at determining the source of any leak and sometimes don’t need to do any destructive investigation to find the source. Once found we will repair the leak and then repair any damage it caused. Parkades often develop leaks due to concrete settling (cracking) and a higher hydrostatic pressure below grade. Our concrete injections have solved many a problem for many of our clients.
Drywall Repairs
Many older building suffer from plumbing and electrical problems. Plumbers and electricians often leave holes cut in your drywall which need patching. Seamless patching is an art, and we are very good at our art! Did you know drywall is a big part of fire regulations? Well, you don’t have to know that, we do! And we’ll give you the right solution for your project.
Maintenance Contracts
To help save your strata money we offer a very unique Maintenance Contract. We will reduce the number of large costly rot repairs your building might have by having our staff automatically catch issues early when they are small and cheap to repair. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if your building could automatically repair itself whenever a small bit of rot started? Well, it can’t…. But our Maintenance Contract is the next best thing!
